I have deconstructed a front cover of a magazine so I would know what types of things to put on the front of my magazine.

Research On Lifestyle Magazines

I have researched into different lifestyle magazines to find out what type of audience reads them, what will be inside and the type of magazine.

Fashion Magazine

Vouge is a fashion magazine which will be read by ladies who are 20-50 years who are into fashion. Inside this magazine there will lots of picture showing all of the latest fas hion, where to buy the clothes and the cost of the clothes.

Teenage Magazine

Shout is a magazine which is read by teenage girls who are into the latest gossip and high street fashion. This magazine contains lots of different quizzes and cheap clothing and jewellery. This magazine usually comes with a free gift.

Gardening Magazine

Organic Gardening is a magazine that adults who own a garden or if they like plants. This magazine could have lots of tips on how to look after garden.

Wedding Magazine

Destination weddings and honeymoons is a magazine that women who are thinking about getting married would read. In this magazine there could be ideas on where you could go on your honeymoon and themes or colour schemes for your wedding

Zest is a magazine that young women who like to keep fit and like to look good would read. This magazine will could have different ways to keep fit and maybe a healthy food guide.

Yummy is a magazine that women or men could read if they like cooking desserts. Inside there could be tips and recipes for puddings and desserts. It will have lots of pictures of puddings.

OK is a magazine that all ages who are into celebrity gossip could read. This magazine has the latest stories on celebrities. This magazines have special editions when big things happen like weddings.

Glamour is a magazine that young women will read. It has lots of articals about celebrities, real life stories and quizzes. This magazine has loads of advertisments and offers inside. It has lots of fashion tips and offers for shop.

About My Blog

For my media coursework I am making a a lifestyle magazine. This blog is going to be showing my step by step process to making a front cover, content page and double page spread for my own women's lifestyle magazine.

I will be researching into different types of magazines creating draft front covers, content pages and double page spread which I will draw by hand. I will also making a flat plan showing what would be on all of the pages if I were to make a whole magazine. There will also be reasoning for all of my posts.
